Welcome to Long Island Rabbi.com!

Rabbi/Cantor Stein has officiated alone as well as co-officiated at hundreds of weddings.  He customizes a personalized wedding service for all couples unique to each couple. Jewish traditions such as the use of the wedding canopy (Chupah), sharing of wine by bride and groom and the breaking of the glass, wedding contract (Ketubah), and the exchange of vows and rings are frequently included according to the wishes of the couple.

In language sensitive to all, and combining the beauty both of your traditions, Rabbi Stein’s caring, warmth and humor will assure that your ceremony will be a joyous and memorable day for you to treasure in the years to come.

Having sung Cantorial for many years, his singing of the traditional Seven Blessings has often been called the highlight of the ceremony.

Initially we will meet to gather information regarding your needs and desires as well as help you customize the elements that you wish to include in your ceremony. I will share suggestions and ideas that will bring to fruition a memorable and meaningful  ceremony.

There are many elements that can be included in your ceremony. Many times, the bride or groom will want to supply either a Kiddush Cup or Tallis that has personal meaning to them for their Chuppah. If not, Rabbi Stein is happy provide many of these elements, as well as the glass to break or a simple Ketubah at no additional cost.

Rabbi Stephen Stein will carefully tailor your wedding ceremony to meet your personal needs.
